Plastic Biodegradation Tester
A laboratory instrument built to ASTM D5338, the standard test method for aerobic biodegradation of plastic materials under controlled composting conditions. Plastic samples are exposed to compost-derived inoculum while the unit controls and logs temperature, aeration and humidity through the thermophilic composting cycle to measure biodegradation rate and degree.
